Tuesday Tip-Removing a Stubborn Fake Tatoo

For Valentine’s Day I bought these adorable tattoo treats for Nugget to take to her class along with some candy. Of course while we made up the treat bags she had to have a one for herself. So mommy obliged.

Still there

Over a week later and that tattoo was still going strong. I tried scrubbing in the bath, but it would not budge. All that did was irritate her skin. I went looking for a more gentle way to remove the tattoo and I came across the idea of using coconut oil.

I gave it a try, and oh am I glad I did. No irritated skin or child whining that something is burning or that I was rubbing too hard. It worked great, and left Nugget with super soft skin.

How to Remove the Tattoo…

I rubbed the oil onto the tattoo gently for about 20 second with my finger, than used a paper towel to wipe away. Repeated (about 2 times) until it was gone. That’s it! So simple!

All Gone!
